The Fix, a Baseball Themed Ballpark Dinner for MN Opera

One of our all-time favorite events! What is better than mixing baseball an opera you ask? The opportunity to see a world-premiere opera, dress up, wear a cap and have gourmet ballpark food, all on the same night. The Fix, based on the Black Sox scandal, really allowed us to bring our creativity and imagination to create a functional, but impactful opening night event.
We set the theme with Chicago themed black and white invitations, served cheesy fries for an appetizer, and brought in bleacher looking chairs to add to the experience. Mini baseball players held balloons with table numbers, white linen striped tablecloths and napkins screamed Black Sox, and the boxwood bouquets held baseballs instead of flowers. We absolutely loved this one!
